The 55m Ketch Marie, built by Vitters Shipyard in 2010 has won the renowned St Barths Bucket Regatta. Marie’s tactician Tony Rey described the excitement of 38 of the world’s finest superyachts racing around the island as follows: “I didn’t need sun screen because there was so much shade from all the sails around us.”
With her good results in the Elegantes class, S/Y Marie ended up first overall in her class. These spectacular race results also won her the overall honours, based on turning in the best cumulative score among all classes.
