Turkish shipyard Mengi-Yay has launched its 45 metre superyacht named Aquarius this past weekend, a project which was started last year. The yacht is designed by Mengi Yay with naval architecture by Ginton in The Netherlands.
The 300 tonne yacht is constructed in wooden laminated epoxy, and she is built according to RINA class specifications. Project NB93 as she was known throughout her build, is powered by two 1450hp Caterpillar C32 engines.
Once sea trials are completed, Aquarius will be delivered to her owner, able to accommodate her guests in one master stateroom and four guest cabins.
