London-based design studio Squared MK has recently revealed their latest superyacht concept to SYT. Named NYX, the project measures 75-metres, and as the designers tell us, is heavily focused on aesthetics and proportions with the intention to create a unique superyacht that instantly attracts attention wherever she is.
On board, she will accommodate up to 14 guests as well as a crew of 20. The owner’s accommodation is particularly notable, comprised of a private deck with balcony, Jacuzzi, folding terrace and bar. The VIP suite will also feature a folding terrace.
Other features on board include a spa with a magical underwater view, as well plenty of exterior space for making the most of the superyacht lifestyle. An area guaranteed to be a favourite of both guest and owner is bound to be the forward deck area featuring a large enclosed swimming pool.
Speaking of the concept, Squared MK explains: “This concept is inspired by the world’s leading shipyards and naval architects who have delivered until now not just yachts, but dreams. Our work is to make sure our clients fulfil their dreams and also to create beautiful architectures, capable of transmitting emotions and performance. Taste and beauty are surely personal, but our aim is to identify the codes and meanings that transform simple objects into iconic and timeless creations.”
In addition to a wealth of facilities on board, NYX will also accommodate a 12-metre performance powerboat, a 9.5-metre tender, two 3.85-metre tenders, four jet skis and a two-person submarine explorer. Performance wise, she will be powered by twin MTU engines providing her with a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.
