In addition to these enlightening interviews, we also take an indepth look at the growing market for fast aluminium yachts, incorporating the informed opinions of Heesen, Cantieri di Pisa, Overmarine, Pershing, Rossinavi, Turquoise Yachts and Baglietto, who have contrasting thoughts on whether or not the market is growing and overtaking GRP constructions in popularity.

This issue also includes several articles to ignite the interest of any yachting enthusiast or professional, with a look back at superyacht industry in 1961 by Yacht Historian Malcolm Wood, an expert opinion on brokerage pricing from Y.CO’s Will Christie, as well as the latest launches, refits, orders and deliveries around the world over the last few months.

Malcolm expertly tells the story of the 15 yachts that were delivered over half a century ago accompanied by original photographs, whilst we take a look at Lord Alan Sugar’s latest refit project, Burger Boat’s new custom explorer yacht, Delta Marine’s new 72 metre superyacht Albatross, and the imminent build of the 85 metre project at Nobiskrug.
