Heesen Yachts is proud to be celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year and at the same time excited to report some important company developments.
After 30 years as the main shareholder in the business, Frans Heesen recently completed the transaction of the majority of the shares to an international investment group.
Heesen Yachts has managed over the last 30 years to build more than 150 high performance luxury yachts with a unique passion. The new owner has confirmed his intention to maintain the same development and expansion policy considering the incredible success of the last couple of years as only the beginning of a new chapter in Heesen’s history.
From an operational point of view there will be no impact on the company’s organisation. The same management team will be there to assist clients in the development and building of their yachts and Frans Heesen will continue to serve the company as Chairman of the Board.
Heesen Yachts is looking forward to maintain the companies’ 30 year track record as market leader in building semi-displacement high-performance aluminium yachts. At the same time the company is expanding the facilities to further improve the presence in the displacement market as well.
