Owner comments on delivery of 47 metre superyacht Elena

Heesen Yachts has announced that the 47 metre superyacht, Elena (formerly named Project Magarita), has been delivered to her owners on 11th July. Intensive sea trials took place on June 4th and 5th in particularly heavy sea conditions in the North Sea and everything went according to plan.

The motoryacht is a classic contemporary yacht design. Zero speed stabilisers will ensure maximum comfort at anchor and the well-engineered round bilge hull with bulbous bow, powered by two MTU 8V 4000 M63, will guarantee smooth and safe cruising in all sea conditions and a range of 4.000nm at 12 knots. She has a maximum speed of 15 knots at 50% load. She accommodates 12 guests over 5 cabins, including a full beam owner’s suite as well as two double and two twin cabins.

The owner comments: "When I came to the shipyard in Oss the first time it was love at first sight: This is going to be our home away from home on the ocean!"

Elena will make her maiden voyage to Scandinavian regions before heading to the Mediterranean. She will be displayed at the Monaco Yacht Show in September and will be available for viewing.
