Designed by Perini Navi’s naval architects, newborn Silvana boasts an ultra-light streamlined aluminium hull with maximum displacement optimized at 540 tons in order to guarantee both high sailing performances and extreme comfort. Both masts, the 58.8m main mast and the 48.26m mizzen, are also in aluminium, while the furling boom is made of carbon fibre.

Silvana is the sixth 56m sailing yacht launched by Perini Navi. The first 56m, Burrasca, was launched in 2003, and was then followed by Santa Maria (now Zenji), Rosehearty, Selene and Salute. In the next three years another 5 units will be built in the same series. Besides the 56m series, Perini Navi’s production plan will include a 50m aluminium sailing yacht, two 45m steel sailing yachts, a 38m in special aluminium, two 59m sailing yachts and two motor yachts: a 50m and a 55m in the new Vitruvius series. The Vitruvius projects will be built under the Picchiotti brand.
