Perini Navi will present two new yachts in Monaco this year. The 60 metre sloop Perseus 3, and the 73 metre Grace E. For the first time ever on a Perini, Perseus 3 is equipped with a carbon bowsprit. The larger downwind sailing areas gained by this feature, together with Perseus 3’s massive 840 square metre main sail, increases her sail area by 30%.
Perseus 3 features a twin rudder system with innovative twin rudder control system. Her towering 75m carbon fiber mast and carbon fiber standing rigging will host an impressive sail set that includes: 2 Gennakers, 1 Code 0, 1 Reacher, 1 Blade, 1 Spinnaker Stay Sail, 1 working Jib and an imposing Main Sail for a combined area of 10.000 square meters.
The 73 metre Picchiotti Grace E is designed by Philippe Briand and is equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion system with twin Azimuth stern pods for a maximum speed of 16.5 knots. Her range at 12 knots is an incredible 7,500 nautical miles.
Accommodation is spread over 5 decks. The uppermost is a ‘Wellness Deck’ dedicated to personal health, well being and fitness and features a gym, sauna, steam bath and hydrotherapy equipment. There is also a lap pool on the main deck.
The interior, designed by Remi Tessier, features extensive and spacious lounging and dining areas, a sushi bar and many other amenities.
