The Ukrainian based Fifth Ocean Yachts company specializes in building steel hull and aluminium superstructure custom and semi-custom expedition yachts. With the clear intention to bring the production toward more European standards, Fifth Ocean Yachts management recently appointed the highly experienced Italian Naval Architect Andrea Armas as Chief Operating Officer.
The first model that borne under the sign of Fifth Ocean Yachts is 24 metres, and is currently in the final stages of construction. This tri-deck yacht, designed by Ginton Design, is powered by twin Caterpillar C7 275 hp each, which will allow this 24 meters to reach the maximum speed of 11.5 knots and maintain a cruising speed of 7 knots, with a range of 4,100
Projects for the construction of 28 and 35.5 metre yachts are ready to be put into Production.
At present, the management of the yard is also drafting the construction of a new 41 metres, as well as a 30 metre sailing yacht.
