Proteksan-Turquoise Yachts rebrands as Turquoise Yachts

Following the purchase of the shipyard by Mohammed Al Barwani in recent months, the name of the Turkish shipyard Proteksan-Turquoise has been changed to Turquoise Yachts. Dr. Al Barwani is also owner of the Dutch yard Oceanco after investing in the company back in 2010, though insists the two yards’ operations will remain completely separate.

Amongst the projects currently in the pipeline is an 81 metre vessel scheduled to be delivered in 2018, as well as a 47 metre project due to be completed next year.

The last yacht to be delivered by Turquoise Yachts was the 50.40 metre Ileria, which was delivered in 2013.
