Rossinavi signs 70m ice-class project King Shark

Rossinavi today announced the sale of a new 70-metre project designed by Team For Design. Not explicitly presented as an explorer yacht, Rossinavi highlights the exploration and world-cruising capabilities of the yacht through its ice classification and low maintenance electric propulsion system.Project King Shark

Designed to be as comfortable in the Caribbean as in the sub-zero climates of Antarctica, King Shark features a sturdy naval platform developed by Arrabito Naval Architects to make unlimited cruising not only safe, but comfortable. Cruising at 12 knots the yacht will be able to reach a range of over 6,000 nm and is expected to reach a top speed of 17 knots. Her 1,560 GT volume will also be designed and decorated by Team For Design and is expected to be an elegant affair. King Shark Design

…after the Vector project with a length of 63M, we are very satisfied to be chosen again for this mega yacht construction and especially in this ice classification,” commented Rossinavi CEO, Federico Rossi.

King Shark will be built according to Rina and Lloyd standards at their facility in Viareggio.
