Royal Falcon Fleet, based in Singapore, have released more information on their exciting project, the RFF135. The RFF135 is a motor catamaran designed by Porsche Design currently under construction. She is set for an early 2010 launch date. Exclusive to Royal Falcon Fleet, RFF's debut model, is crafted for the new generation yacht owner.
Her unique, space-aged, contemporary design makes her unmistakably a piece of modern architecture. The design's main focus is to indulge the customer with unmatched performance, comfort, space and luxury that suits a high-end lifestyle.
The RFF135 has a revolutionary layout, and features a panorama salon in her bow, shaped like an airplane cockpit, suspended over the water. All guest accomodation is above the waterline, the owner's cabin is on the upper deck, together with a double guest cabin, whilst three more double guest cabins can be found on the main deck.
In 2008, the RFF 135 has been extensively tested at the Australian Maritime Ship Hydrodynamics Centre. A 1:24 scale model was tested in calm water for a range of operational displacements and speeds. Extensive seakeeping head seas experiments were also carried out over a range of significant wave heights and wave periods. The tow tank test results validated the vessels 35 knot sprint speed and exceptional seakeeping characteristics.
