Royal Huisman and Pendennis join ICOMIA Refit Group

The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) Superyacht Refit Group has announced the introduction of two new members; the British shipyard Pendennis, as well as the Dutch shipbuilders Royal Huisman.

Established in 1966, ICOMIA is the international trade association representing the global marine industry, with the Superyacht Refit Group acting as a focused sub-group with the intention to address key issues around the refit sector.

The two latest additions to the Group round the total number of members to eleven, consisting of Amico, Astilleros de Mallorca, Blohm + Voss Repair, Compositeworks, Marina Barcelona 92, Monaco Marine, NCP-Repair Shipyard Šibenik Ltd, Nobsikrug, Prinmar, and Rybovich.

ICOMIA Superyacht Refit Group members conform to a unique Code of Practice, which brings certainty to refit and eases the owner's concerns on how their yacht's refit will be managed and the quality that will be achieved. In addition, Refit Group members offer their clients a standard framework contract developed by prominent international marine lawyers.
