Following successful sea trials, Sarafsa - project name ‘P54’ - with its distinctive burgundy coloured hull and teak transom, departed from Plymouth Sound in early July to meet its owner for the season. The new yacht, designed by Andrew Winch replaces its predecessor which also sported a burgundy hull and teak transom, and was sold on behalf of its owner by Royale Oceanic at the end of 2007.

Kevin Laverty, project director of Royale Oceanic who with his team ran the build of Sarafsa, is delighted with the results, “It is hugely satisfying to see Sarafsa leaving Plymouth after its four year build programme. We worked well as a large team to ensure that the yacht was completed to the total satisfaction of the client.”
