S/Y Ebb Tide in Amsterdam
Yesterday afternoon, our intern Minh spotted the 83-foot Royal Huisman Ebb Tide cruising past our office in the centre of Amsterdam, cruising towards the IJsselmeer, Western Europe's largest lake. Ebb Tide was completed in 1987, and was ordered by a client who wanted to move up from a large Swan, and who enjoyed sailing shorthanded. The yacht is designed by Sparkman & Stephens, with an interior by Pieter Beeldsnijder. The yacht was purchased by the owner of the much larger Royal Huisman Juliet, and she was used as a training boat in preparation for taking Juliet offshore.
