During a private ceremony held yesterday at the Sanlorenzo headquarters in Ameglia, the Italian yacht builder launched the first unit in its crossover SX88 yacht line.
The yacht is based on a GRP semi-displacement hull with a carbon fibre superstructure. Her hull shape has been optimised to perform across a wide range of speeds all the way up to her top speed of 23 knots. The SX88’s exterior design is the work of Officina Italiana Design and features an interior by Lissoni Associati.
A single steering position is located on the flybridge which can be opened via lowering the surrounding windows or kept close during evening or bad weather passages.
The SX88 will make her world debut at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival next month.
