Superyacht Blind Date renamed Tatyana after sale

Having found a new owner last month, the 41-metre Lürssen superyacht Blind Date has been renamed Tatyana according to her AIS signal displayed. The yacht was launched as Xenia in Germany in 1995 and was subsequently renamed Xania, Abracci and Blind Date over the next 20 years. She was recently transported to the island of Malta where she is currently located.

Originally built for a European owner who housed her out of the water in covered facilities each winter, Blind Date was refitted in 2004/5, during which time the interior was entirely rebuilt to create a calm, 'Zen-like' environment throughout. The yacht has subsequently benefited from the care and attention of an experienced owner together with a thorough, ongoing maintenance and upgrade schedule.
