Superyacht Bystander in Saint Tropez

Built by JFA Yachts in 2006, the 42 metre superyacht Bystander features naval architecture by renowned Dutch company Vripack, with Rhoades Young Design responsible for both her interior and exterior designs. Her design is based on a 1930s workboat, and she is currently being used as a support vessel for the owner’s 39 metre J-Class yacht built by Camper & Nicholsons, Velsheda.

Bystander has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She accommodates up to twelve guests over several luxurious cabins, as well as up to 9 crew in total.

Powered by twin 720 Hp Caterpillar engines, she has a maximum speed of 13 knots, and a cruising speed of 11.5 knots. She has a range of 4,000 nm at a speed of 11 knots. In 2007, Bystander won the International Super Yacht Award for Best 32-43m Power Yacht.
