Superyacht Gattopardo VI launched by CBI Navi

Last April, the CBI Navi Shipyard launched a 40 metre motor yacht built by the FIPA Group member and designed by Ginton Naval Architects from The Netherlands. During the successful naming ceremony, the champagne bottle broke immediately and the yacht was christened Gattopardo VI.

Exterior styling and naval architecture were done jointly by the Shipyard Naval Architects and by Jaron Ginton based on the successful M/Y Metsuyan IV, built by the FIPA Group Shipyards in 2006.

The 40-metre offers plenty of space on 4 comfortable decks, where eight guests are generously accommodated in four VIP suites. The spacious owner’s stateroom is located on the Main Deck.

The steel/aluminium full displacement superyacht has a beam of 8.35 metres, with bulbous bow and she can achieve a top speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots. Moreover, powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines of 850 hp each, in combination with her fuel capacity of 56,000 litres, the luxury yacht can ensure a transatlantic range of 4,900 nautical miles at cruising speed and an outrageous maximum range of 7,000 nautical miles at 7 knots.

Gattopardo VI is the latest jewel to join the fleet of the Viareggio based superyacht builder CBI Navi, a brand of the FIPA Group, and more steel/aluminium superyachts will follow.
