86-metre superyacht Kingdom 5KR in Antibes, France
The Benetti-built superyacht Kingdom 5KR started out life as Nabila in 1980. She is designed by Jon Bannenberg, with an interior by Luigi Sturchio and at the time of her launch was considered as one of the largest yachts in the world. Nabila was sold to American businessman and newly elected president of the United States, Donald Trump, who renamed her Trump Princess in the late eighties. Trump mainly used the yacht for business purposes and resold her a few years later to her current owner, His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud - the founder of the Kingdom holding Company. Despite her age, the yacht’s looks have not been altered too radically since her launch. She had a refit at Amels in 1993 where minor changes were made to her exterior, which included small alteration of her aft decks. The yacht is kept in perfect condition, and can often be found spending time in the port of Antibes. Today, the 90-metre Lionheart ranks as the Italian shipyard’s largest completed vessel.
