Imagination, project FB 501 was lauched the last summer, and this is the first yacht in the new Benetti Imagination 47 line. The conception of the new Imagination 47 is based on the yard's positive experience with the 43-metre motor yacht Diane (FB 236), launched in 2007, and it is the first Benetti motor yacht built with a semi-displacement hull, entirely in aluminium.

For this reason the new Imagination 47 is the outcome of a tried and tested technical alliance perfectly fine-tuned by Benetti. The result is a solid yet lightweight yacht with an optimised hull, offering excellent performance and, at the same time, a long range. Thanks to its technical characteristics, the new aluminium range possesses transoceanic qualities and can safely face any type of navigation. It's bulboubs bow enables the yacht to reach high speeds (calculated at around 23.5 knots in average load conditions). Its technical fittings have been cleverly combined with.

The exterior of Imagination, designed by Stefano Natucci's, is a innovative concept design and her exterior design runs fluidly, forming soft, sleek curves that blend the hull with the superstructure. Like the exterior, the interior of the FB 501 are coherent with the modern spirit of the yacht, exclusively interpreted in the interior design of François Zuretti.

Imagination's interior is light and airy, yet highly sophisticated. Guests arriving on the main deck aft are welcomed into the large main saloon, passing first through the entrance lobby, which features an elevator, as well as a wide staircase that connects all three decks.

The main salon, and adjacent dining room, are draped with breathtaking views through large windows, and features modular furniture. A wide band of high gloss bright blue runs accross the ceiling, adding a playful touch. The elegant style of the various social areas is in perfect harmony with current luxury trends based on a simple, linear design.

High bulwalks on the fordeck hide the fact that the owner's cabin offers near a 180 degrees view, a clever design trick, not seen on any superyacht before.

Her engine room, built to perfection, is equipped with twin MTU M90 16V 4000 diesel engines. They provide a 3.400nm range at 12 knots, but can also reach a top speed of just under 25 knots.
