Superyacht of the week: The 31.86 metre Serenitas

The 31.86 metre superyacht Serenitas was built by the Turkish shipyard Mengi-Yay in 2014. She features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with naval architecture and exterior design by Ginton Naval Architects. She features bright and simple yet sophisticated interior design by BTA Design, creating an elegant but welcoming environment for guests. A contemporary feel is present both inside and outside.

She accommodates up to 10 passengers in total over five spacious and opulent cabins, all designed in the same bright colour schemes and plush, ocean blue carpets as seen throughout the rest of the boat. The masters suite is located on the main deck and is vast, with an enormous, monochromatic bed positioned in the middle of the room.

The back wall behind the bed is partly mirrored, giving the illusion of even more space in the area. A large armchair sits in the corner of the room next to an extensive window, allowing guests to enjoy spectacular ocean views.

Also featured in the master suite is a fold down LCD TV, that conveniently disappears into the ceiling until desired, eliminating a cluttered look and reaffirming that clean theme throughout. Adjoined is a commodious, bright white bathroom, with an enormous bathtub in the middle of the room. His and hers sinks, a toilet and a shower are located either side of the bathtub.

Guest accommodation is equally as luxurious. All located on the lower deck, Serenitas features three VIP cabins featuring a private office space as well as another mirrored wall. Behind the bed is a large window, again, affording the guest spectacular views. The remaining twin provide ample space to enjoy privacy on board, and comes with LCD televisions.

All cabins come with en-suite facilities and iPod docking stations. The crew areas are clean and spacious, with a vast, modern galley. The entire crew areas including the crew cabins, mess, galley, service room for laundry and passage stairs to the bridge is completely separated from the guest areas.

Elsewhere inside, the large saloon features an L shaped settee and huge armchair, both in black leather upholstery with dashes of colour afforded by the multitude of soft cushions. In the middle of the seating area is a large coffee table, and provides the ideal environment to relax and unwind with family. The saloon also features large windows, inundating the area with natural light and providing fantastic ocean views for guests to enjoy as they relax.

Directly opposite the seating area is a well equipped bar and enough space to be able to comfortably entertain several guests on board in both luxury and style. Also in this area is the main dining area, with a formal dining setting with large, black armchairs for up to six people.

In regards to her exterior areas, she offers guests a wide range of options to enjoy the best of the Mediterranean weather. On the fly deck, a shaded seating area is provided with comfortable seating in a light blue and white colour scheme, complementing the light colour of the wooden decking. Further on, a large 6 person Jacuzzi awaits guests. Fore of the Jacuzzi are several sun loungers and a matching coffee table to soak up the most of the sun whilst enjoying a drink or snacks.

The foredeck provides yet another seating area in the same sophisticated colour scheme as the furniture seen on the fly deck, with a large, cushioned sofa. The padded seating area is accessed from two separate stairwells leading down from a fantastic dining area seating up to ten guests. This area is ideal to enjoy the very best of al fresco dining or entertainment and socialising, and provides breathtaking 360 degree views.

For the more adventurous guests on board, Serenitas also includes an array of water toys and tenders. This includes a dinghy, a 5.00 metre Williams Performance Tender with a 105hp engine, a Seadoo GTI 155hp jetski, a wakeboard, a water ski, and ample snorkelling and swimming equipment for all guests.

Serenitas, built for a client brought by Yacht Marine Ltd, is built to RINA Class, she is powered by twin CAT C12 / 490hp engines, she has a maximum speed of 12.5 knots, a cruising speed of 10 knots and a range of 3,600 nm. She boasts a particularly economic fuel consumption, using only 100 litres per hour at her cruising speed including generators.

The yacht is now managed by Yacht Marine Ltd , and throughout the 2015 summer season, Serenitas will be available to charter throughout the western Mediterranean, including the Cote d’Azur, Corsica and Sardinia. Her charter rate ranges from €50,000 - €70,000 per week.
