Superyacht of the Week: The 46 metre Mystic

In 2010, Turkish based CMB Yachts delivered the alluringly designed Mystic. At 46 metres LOA, she is the largest European/Turkish superyacht built completely from composite and, with Dutch exterior design courtesy of Diana Yacht Design, interiors from German Schnaase Interior Design and engineering from UK-based High Modulus, she also truly is an international project, excitingly promising to combine the best of several worlds.

Upon boarding, guests are immersed into a pleasant sense of minimalistic style, with contemporary furnishing that is modern while still showing enough curve to hint at a classical touch in design as well. Without abundance in detailing, Mystic’s main aft deck focuses on enjoying the outside space in style, not merely emphasising the vessel herself but also involving the surroundings.

Entering the main saloon area, a welcoming atmosphere has been created where modern warmth enriched with stylish oriental elements have resulted in a spacious sense of elegant coziness. This pleasant sense of intimacy is nicely framed by comfortable furnishing, resulting in a unique and personal sense of style.

Separated from the main saloon, the snug dining area feels light and airy. Centered around a large, dark lacquered-wood dining table, this room can be easily transformed from intimate to formal. Either way, this space remains an ideal setting for guests to enjoy ample pleasurable breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

Passing through the main deck lobby and corridor, adjacent to the pantry and galley areas, the fully equipped gym area can be found, ensuring each guest’s physical wellbeing during their pleasurable stay on board.

The galley is a picture perfect application of Mystic’s style, where minimalistic lines, smoothly rounded edges and a beautiful contrast of dark lacquered wooden lower cabinets and clean white countertops and top cabinets form the elegant basis for the preparation of plenty on board meals and refreshments.

Opposite of the galley, the golden walls and starry ceilings of the cinema room invite guests to come in and relax, undoubtedly assuring plenty of perfectly comfortable movie nights.

Contemporary elegance and warm intimacy can be experienced throughout the yacht. Offering room for a company of up to ten guests, a total of five guest cabins can be found throughout Mystic’s deck. On the lower deck, four guest cabins are located, in a configuration of two doubles and two twins. Every guest cabin offers space and comfort in Mystic’s signature elegant style, framed by subtle oriental elements in the appearance of bed linen patterns, elegant framing of walls and windows and the overall application of dark lacquered woods and upholstered leather throughout the bedrooms as some of the main design elements. Continued in the cabins’ warm style, the en suite bathrooms of each guest cabin offer comfort and luxury with spacious showers, bidets and wash basins, with large windows assuring the flow of ample amounts of natural light.

The central part of Mystic’s bridge deck has been reserved for the grand Master suite, with a luxuriously spacious full beam bedroom and his and hers walk-in dressing rooms, study and reading room and lush bathroom boasting a bath, separate shower, and his and hers wash basins. With classy gold accents encompassed into the design, this area is an elegant and soothing space supplied with space, luxury and natural light in every room.

The bedroom gives direct access to the large upper aft deck area, where large lounging furniture supply an ideal setting for cocktails, after dinner coffee or simply some relaxing.

Mystic’s sun deck is as spacious and elegant as each room on board, with a fully equipped bar, lounging area, Jacuzzi and elegantly designed fixed sun loungers to meet one’s every need. The Jacuzzi gives perfect vista views around and the sun loungers, when not in use, can be easily flattened to floor level as to save precious storing space and optimally enhancing ease of use.
