Set to be one of the stars at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show in September is Admiral’s brand new 55 metre hybrid superyacht Quinta Essentia. She is the largest yacht built under the Admiral brand to date, with a hefty 873 Gross Tons of internal volume which has been exquisitely translated into grand guest areas and luxurious accommodation spaces. But Quinta Essentia is not all about the glitz and glam. Underneath this Italian built superyacht lies a sophisticated power package that has made her one of the most anticipated launches of the year.
The all-aluminium yacht is designed by Monaco based Dobroserdov Design. Dutch design firm Vripack worked together with The Italian Sea Group on developing the E Motion 55 platform that gives Quinta Essentia such a spacious interior and comfortable ride out at sea.
Her owner’s years of experience in owning yachts played an important role in the setup of the functional layout that guests and crew get to enjoy today. Spaces are kept simple through outfitting suites and saloons with the necessary only, which has then been finished in an opulent yet tasteful manner. This custom interior is the work of Michela Reverberi, who has worked on projects such as the 44m restyled Blade, Sea Flower and 72m Stella Maris.
To add to the clinical feel of the interior, white surfaces from top to bottom are used as a base for each area on board. Colours are gradually introduced through various shades of handmade silk wallpaper, metallic accents and masonry inlays. A unique feature about the furniture inside as well as on deck is its special ‘floating’ design. A reduced base on each of these creates the illusion of a suspended piece, which is much a design feature as it is a space saving measure.
A total of six guest suites are spread out over three decks – am unusual layout for a yacht of this length. The elegant forward facing VIP suite on the upper deck looks over a private outdoor seating area and on to the foredeck which houses a touch and go helipad for quick and convenient transfers to shore.
The stylish and sunlit full beam owner’s suite is found on the main deck offset to port. An eye-catching deckhead decoration and an intricate wallpaper design adds a touch of class to this modern room. A large sliding door gives access to the deck outside where guests can relax on a fixed curved balcony. Four further cabins are located on the lower deck which can be converted into two larger cabins for longer charters or special guests.
A selling point of Quinta Essentia's luxuries has to be her beach deck. The entire full beam aft section of the lower deck has been dedicated to wellness and watersports. Here guests will be treated at the on board massage room, sauna and hamman. After which, guests are lead onto the 45 square metre swim platform where sunloungers and cocktails await. Quinta Essentia’s professional crew are on standby with an array of water toys and fun activities for the entire family.
A custom tender was designed to match the style of Quinta Essentia and safely transport her guests in luxury to port. The tender is launched through a hull opening forward on main deck.
Powered by twin MAN engines, Quinta Essentia delivers a top speed of 16.5 knots, with an trans Pacific range of over 6,500 nm at a speed of 9.5 knots. While cruising under electric mode, the yacht consumes a minimal 88 litres per hour.
Don’t miss your opportunity to view this Italian masterpiece first hand at the the upcoming 2016 MYS. Quinta Essentia is currently on offer at an asking price of EUR 37,500,000.
