Superyacht of the week: The exquisite Benetti Lady Candy

If anything, Lady Candy is all about finding balance; a balance between boldness and refined elegance, between comfort and performance, and between East and West, as this exquisite 57 metre superyacht unites the extraordinary signature of Italian design with the mysterious eastern finesse of her proud owner's requirements. The result is simply outstanding and will be extensively featured in our upcoming issue of SuperYacht Experience, with an in-depth interview with captain and designer Paul Brackley of Central Yacht, who was responsible for the vessel's interior designs and layouts, in close cooperation with the owner and American architecture firm BAMO. Add to that Benetti's renowned naval architecture, and taking a closer look at Lady Candy simply becomes a must. For now, we are proud to present Lady Candy as Superyacht of the Week, as a lady of elegant luxury, impressive technology and a well-balanced, airy and delightful fusion of styles.

Her exterior look is that of a true modern classic, with a distinct Benetti look and a long, slender silhouette. Undeniably modern, Lady Candy boasts an elegance that is truly becoming and appealing. Her exterior colour palette, a combination of light beige for her sleek and crisp white for the well-proportioned superstructure, is subtle yet distinct, accentuating her look of feminine sharpness in just the right way. With the starkly contrasting dark windows, Lady Candy is part sportiveness, part grace, part vigor, and all finesse.

With large widows on either side, the main saloon has a pleasant panoramic quality, which blends well with the interior style of traditional asian influences combined with contemporary colours, materials and textures. Large, inviting furnishing in light upholstery is combined with high-gloss ceilings, plush carpeting with a seemingly mother-of-pearl detailing and an overall sense of pleasant hospitality. Although wonderfully outspoken, there is a sense of serenity which can be enjoyed everywhere onboard.
