The latest superyacht to join the growing charter fleet of International Yacht Register is the 62.97 metre Polar Star. She is the third Lürssen motor yacht, the other two being the 67.10 metre Apoise and the 58.55 metre Capri, in the charter fleet of IYR.
Polar Star was delivered by the German shipyard in 2005. The yacht’s exterior styling is by Espen Oeino, and she features large open aft decks, and a classic interior design by Pauline Nunns and Serena Williams-Ellis. The luxury motor yacht sleeps 12 guests in 6 staterooms, including a large master suite, with stunning panoramic views, on the owner’s private deck.
Polar Star is currently under going a refit and will be available for charter from Summer 2011 in the Mediterranean. In the low season her rate has been set at € 395,000 per week and in the high season she is available at € 450,000 per week.
