Superyacht Safira sold

Northrop & Johnson has announced the sale of the 39 metre superyacht Safira. Fraser Yachts represented the new owners. Launched by Newcastle and Marine in cooperation with Tyneside Yachts in 2013, Sparkman & Stephens are responsible for her naval architecture which earned the yacht the 2014 Superyacht Award for Naval Architecture. Her interiors are by Michael David & Associates.

She accommodates up to 10 guests over five luxurious cabins The full beam owner’s suite is located forward on the main deck whilst below decks, two twin single cabins as well as two cabins with queen size beds are found. All accommodation comes with en suite facilities.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3516 diesel engines, she has a maximum speed of 13.5 knots and a cruising speed of 11.1 knots. She is equipped with zero-speed stabilizers, and her fuel-efficient engines are capable of using biodiesel.

Brokers Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford acted on behalf of the seller, and the vessel was a joint central agency with Burgess.
