Perini Navi USA has today announced the sale of the 38 metre sloop P2. Built by Perini Navi in 2008, P2 has an alloy hull and carbon superstructure and features naval architecture and exterior design by the renowned Philippe Briand.
Since her delivery several years ago, she has been a highly respected racer on the superyacht regatta circuit in addition to enjoying a successful charter history. She underwent her five year ABS survey in 2014, which saw her hull, mast and boom repainted, her keel removed and overhauled, and the upholstery updated in the main saloon.
Bruce Brakenhoff Jr., President of Perini Navi USA, comments on the sale: “We’re very delighted for the successful sale of P2 and it confirms the value of the Perini Navi product and brand. We’re very proud as well of the trust that the original and new owners put in us.”
P2 was listed for sale at Perini Navi USA, with Perini Navi’s Bruce Brakenhoff representing both the buyer and the seller in the deal. At the time of sale, she was listed at an asking price of $9,900,000. Her new owner intends to participate in the Caribbean regatta season, and will take P2 to the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta as well as the St. Barths Bucket.
