Camper & Nicholsons has today announced the sale of the 44.2 metre superyacht Libra Star. Built by the Italian shipyard Benetti in 2008, her exterior design comes from the drawing board of Stefano Righini Design whilst Francois Zuretti undertook her interior design.
On board she accommodates up to 12 guests over several luxurious cabins, as well as a crew of nine. Powered by twin CAT 3508B engines, she has a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
Libra Sta was sold with Alex and Gaston Lees-Buckley of Camper & Nicholsons representing the seller, and Nicholas Macpherson of HMY Yachts representing the buyer in the deal. Her asking price was not made public during her sales process, though it was reported that prior to her sale, her owner invested approximately €1,000,000 on maintaining and improving the yacht over the past eight years.
