31m superyacht Astro off Cannes, France
Seen off Cannes this summer season was the 31-metre superyacht Astro, built by Baia Yachts in Italy. Astro was launched with a near all-black exterior in 2010 as Mirage and renamed Astro as she changed hands in 2012. Today she is characterised by her white paint job, dome-like glass structure and futuristic side decals. Astro is powered by three MTU engines coupled to Arneson surface drives that push her to a top speed of 50 knots, making this one of the fastest yachts in the world.
