Turkish superyacht builder Bilgin Shipyard expands

The Bilgin Shipyard was established back in 1929 and in the last few years the company has grown exceptionally. The company’s expansion plans started in 2004 with the opening of 1,600sqm stainless steel workshop. To meet the growing demand of customised interiors the company opened a 2,200sqm furniture factory in 2007 and in late 2010 a professional interior and exterior upholstery workshop of 1,200sqm was opened.

As of today the facility of Bilgin Shipyard consists of 3,000sqm of open workspace and 12,200sqm of covered workspace. With their team of in-house naval architects, engineers, electricians, plumbers, designers and a carpentry team of over 300 people the company will continue to build superyachts from 30 to 65 metres.
