Superyacht Um Hurair in Dubai

Pictured here at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort Marina in Dubai earlier this year in March is the 47.78 metres superyacht Um Hurair (ex. Ilham II; Gulnev). Built by the Italian shipyard Benetti in 1970, she is built with a steep hull and aluminium superstructure, with a Gross Tonnage of just 393.

On board she accommodates up to 13 guests over six luxurious staterooms, as well as a crew of 12. Back in 2003 she was almost completely destroyed by a fire, but was impressively and unexpectedly rebuilt in 2007 and was spotted cruising in the Middle East and India.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3412TA engines, she has a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 4,000 nm.
