The Italian Uniesse Marine Group has recently announced that the company has acquired the assets of Uniesse Marine. Consequently, Uniesse has revealed that they are currently in the process of revamping the brand, redesigning their line of motor yachts ranging from 49 to 115’. The acquisition was led by David Schwedel, a Florida based SMBV investor, and will mean that the company will now be headquartered in Miami with all manufacturing undertaken in Italy. Commenting on what this means for the Uniesse brand, Schwedel told SYT that the latest development will allow Uniesse to grow into new global markets: “This acquisition will allow Uniesse to expand to markets that were formerly underserved by the company, including Asia and the Middle East. In addition, we will have capabilities to help our existing customers move up to larger vessels over the coming years.

Continuing, Schwedel states that with their larger models currently in production, the company is also considering the introduction of more 30+ metre models to their line. “Our current 90’, 105’, and 115’ motor yachts are all in line for production beginning in 2020. We are in the process of reviewing larger vessels in the 120’ – 135’ range as well for 2023.
