Yachting Development sign new superyacht order

Yachting Developments has announced they have recently signed a new order for a 33.5 metre superyacht. The performance ocean cruising sloop was designed by Frers Naval Architecture, with Adam Lay Studio responsible for the interiors. The project will be a repeat collaboration between the New Zealand shipyard and the two prestigious designers.

Being built for European owners who are experienced, hands on sailors, one of the key elements of the design brief for Hull 1012 was that she will be easily handled by a small crew. Ian Cook, Managing Director of Yachting Developments comments, “We are extremely proud to have signed this new order and look forward to working with owners and their team on this exciting new build.”

In addition to Hull 1012, Yachting Developments is currently at work on several residential and commercial projects, and has a busy refit order book ahead of the New Zealand summer cruising season.
