Yachts and companies continue to sign up at Singapore Yacht Show

Award winners and industry leaders are flocking to be on display at this year’s Singapore Yacht Show, both in the water and by it. With well over 80 vessels already booked into slips, including 29 yachts over 20m, the Show is expected to be even bigger and more glamorous than in 2013.

Those with a taste for larger motoring superyachts should look out for Cloud 9 (60m; on display with Burgess), Exuma (50m; Perini Navi/Picchiotti on display in collaboration with Fraser Yachts), a 54m Trinity-built Keri Lee III and Moonsand (41m; Boat Lagoon).

The company will also be showcasing two of Monte Carlo Yachts’ models: the 23m and the 20m (there will also be a 15m model on the water).

Sunseeker Asia will be showing the Manhattan 73 (23m) and Princess Yachts will be displaying a stunning variety, including its 26m and a 23m models with Princess SE Asia, as well as two Asia debuts.

Sailing yacht aficionados should make an appointment to visit the multiple-award-winning Vertigo (67m; on display with Y.CO), which was built by Alloy Yachts and designed by Philippe Briand. All three companies will be attending the Show and available to discuss her – or how to build your own sailing yacht of her calibre.

If you are looking for holiday ideas rather than to buy a vessel, then the Singapore Yacht Show has plenty on offer, as a number of the yachts above are on display for charter as well as for sale. For those with an adventurous and nostalgic streak, Tall Ship Adventures will be showing off the 43m Tall Ship Royal Albatross, ready to take you on your next expedition. Also debuting at the show and presented by Northrop & Johnson Asia, will be S/Y Dunia Baru who is also available for charter. At 51m, she is an impressive vessel who will delight those who charter her for cruising around South East Asia.

Porto Montenegro, located on the exclusive Adriatic Riviera and frequented by Europe’s jet setting crowd, is exhibiting its range of attractions, including a full-service superyacht marina, luxury apartments, sparkling nightlife and poolside chic.

For an experience of barefoot and environmentally responsible travel without sacrificing luxury, Soneva resorts offers alluring options in Asia: Soneva Fushi in the Maldives and Soneva Kiri in Thailand. Visitors who fall in love with the dreamy landscape and spectacular architecture can choose to call it home, as there are also residences available to purchase. Opening in 2014, Soneva is expanding its concept, with a new resort in Sri Lanka and a yachting experience in the Maldives.
