Description

Boadicea derives her name from the queen of the Brythonic Celtic Iceni people of Norfolk in Eastern Britain who led a major uprising of the tribes against the occupying forces of the Roman Empire. Boadicea was without doubt this year's brokerage queen of the 2007 Monaco Yacht Show.

At 70.50m, she is among the largest yachts on today’s market. She is available for the first time since she was built in 1999. Boadicea is a perfect example of the highly acclaimed craftsmanship from the Dutch shipyard Amels. She offers interior volume never before available and an abundance of open deck space, providing ideal opportunities for both private or corporate entertainment. With 5 decks available to her guests (including the vast sun deck), the feeling of space on board is very impressive. By storing the two main tenders (built by Vikal) in special tenderbays on the main side deck, all of Boadicea's aft decks and her entire sundeck are free to be used by her guests.

The sundeck includes a beautifully tiled swimming pool, with an incorporated water jetstream, so guests can swim against the current. The sundeck also includes an exterior bar with fixed stools, cocktail seating areas and sun loungers. Boadicea's interior is designed by renowned designer Terence Disdale, and is styled in an array of light colors. There is a choice of formal, and informal salons on board, and guests can even be entertained in her onboard cinema. Up to 16 guests can be accommodated on board in total luxury. Guests are looked after by a crew of 28. Maintained in top condition, Boadicea is offered by Burgess.
