Atlantis is a luxury ocean-going displacement motoryacht designed for bluewater cruising in all conditions. Her round-bilged displacement steel hull with good deadrise, transom, level keel, and flared bow with fine entrance angle ensures both a stunning appearance and excellent performance. The watertight bulkheads and a double bottom tank construction over the entire length guarantee safety and a practical layout. Hakvoortxs latest triumph complies with Lloydxs regulations for special service craft (class +100A1 SSC Yacht G6 Mono +LMC UMC).

Technical details
Atlantis has been designed for good technical accessibility and low maintenance, both on deck and in the engine room. The yacht features three control stations – one in the wheelhouse and one on each of the bridge wings – as well as an emergency station near the steering gear. Two powerful MTU 8V4000 R diesel engines, each with a maximum continuous rating of 700 kK at 1600 rpm, are positioned amidships and ensure a cruising speed of 12.5 and top speed of 13.5 knots at full load.

The propulsion system is straight drive with oil-lubricated shafts and two FP propellers, and steering is ensured by a Tenfjord hydraulic cylinder between twin spade rudders with two main pumps. Thanks to a fuel capacity of 68,400 litres and a waste and lube oil capacity of 2000 litres each, the range of the boat extends to 3,800 nautical miles; the water and wastewater tanks hold 12,000 and 7,000 litres, respectively. Two Northern Lights M1066A2 generators provide 145 kW at 1800 rpm.

Interior
Encased in an aluminium superstructure, Atlantisxs luxurious indoor areas are finished in traditional nautical style with a wealth of wood and valuable stone panelling. A lift with a special pattern marble inlay in the floor connects all four decks through their respective lobbies, with a stair winding around the circular lift shaft.

The lower deck houses four cabins with stunning ensuite bathrooms amidships, each with a queen-sized bed or two bunks, and one with room for three. The interior comfort of the cabins is enhanced by atmospheric lighting and rich joinery and carpeting. There are computer connections in all cabins. The aft part of the deck houses the engine room, control room, aft peak tender garage, lazarette, technical space, and recessed swimming platform.

Main deck
The main lobby with marble floor, wardrobe and day head is positioned on the starboard side. Aft of the lobby, the open deck extends on either side of the dining room and lounge all the way to the aft open deck area. The area forward of the lobby covers the entire width of the deck and houses the well-appointed captainxs cabin, the galley and other facilities, such as the laundry room, walk-in refrigeration/freezer storage and walk-in dry store. The well-equipped galley includes a stainless-steel central island and granite working tops, as well as two trash compactors, a dishwasher, icemaker, coffee machine and many other appliances. A separate service pantry aft of the galley and to port of the main lobby opens onto the port side deck and directly onto the dining room.

The dining room, which seats 10 guests around a large table, is fused with the lounge in an open plan. The lounge features four different seating arrangements, consisting of various settees and armchairs and four side tables, as well as a pop-up TV and entertainment system and a built-in dry bar. The interior naturally flows over into the outdoor aft deck area, which includes a large seating area centred on a wide coffee table as well as a round teak dining table with room for 10 people. There are wind doors to port and starboard at the side decks, while a bulwark door to port gives access to the Mediterranean gangway. A winding stairway to starboard connects the open areas in the aft part of every deck with the lazarette and swimming platform on the lower deck.

Bridge deck
The bridge deck lobby opens aft onto the ownersx area, as well as to port onto the pantry, with its dumbwaiter access, fridge, icemaker and granite countertops, and to starboard onto the shipxs office and radio room. The office connects to the wheelhouse itself, which is forward. The wheelhouse interior is finished in wood and leather with carpeted floors, while comfort is ensured by a large U-shaped settee aft of the steering position. Special care was taken to create enough headroom for rough seas and in the layout of the consoles to ensure easy accessibility. The hoods are arranged so that reflections in the windscreen are prevented.

The ownersx dayroom just aft of the lobby includes built-in cabinets, a games table with two chairs and a lazy seat with small coffee table. Further aft, the ownersx stateroom features a king-size bed with upholstered headboard and large wardrobes, as well as a built-in entertainment centre with concealed 42x flatscreen TV. There are two separate, luxurious bathrooms. There are windows all around the cabin, and an opening onto the open aft area.

The open aft area of the bridge deck features a two-seat sofa and low teak coffee table fixed on the centreline, as well as two loose club seats with footrests and a games table with four loose chairs.

The walkaround gangway extends into wide, semi-covered areas aft and forward on the deck. Its forward counterpart, designed for entertaining larger groups, features three built-in settees centred on a large sun bed/table setup. The whole arrangement is covered by a large tent. The crew/MOB tender is kept on the forepeak, and flush deck fittings allow for the stowage of two Jet Skis.

Flybridge deck
The forward part of the sundeck forms an enclosed sky lounge. The main lift and staircase enters the far forward part of this space. Aft, two large L-shaped settees on either side of the centreline each focus on a round teak coffee table. There is also a day head, a fridge/icemaker, and a small wet bar with sink here, while the dumbwaiter comes out in a small aluminium cabinet forward. The sky lounge walls are ingeniously finished as an outside area in faired and painted aluminium. A small outdoor area just forward of the sky lounge is protected by a windscreen and consists of two semi-circular seating arrangements sandwiching a teak table.

A separate room in the aft part of the sky lounge comprises a round table with room for ten guests, surrounded by a semi-circular glass wall. The wall slides completely open to create a single space with the adjacent open deck aft, which provides plenty of room for lounging in the sun. There is also a seating area here, as well as an electric BBQ unit and a whirlpool bathtub. The bottom of the six-person tub is sunk through the deck in order to allow the top to be at seating level. And to top off the atmosphere of total relaxation, there are spotlights in the mast and overhead crossing bar.
