47m Sailing yacht Aquarius sold

The 1990-built Perini Navi sailing yacht Aquarius which has been listed been for sale through Burgess recently changed hands in a transaction involving Dirk Johnson of Perini Navi USA who acted on behalf of the buyer. Burgess’ Henry Craven-Smith represented the seller. Aquarius was listed at an asking price of $9,750,000.

Built by Perini Navi in 1990 (refit 2010), the 47 metre Aquarius was designed by the Perini Navi in-house team and constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. On board, the ketch accommodates up to 10 guests over four well-appointed cabins, including two large double cabins and two twin cabins each with an additional Pullman berth. A crew of eight are also accommodated for.

Perini Navi USA reported on another transaction that took place this past month involving a mysterious yacht which changed hands in mid-July. Perini Navi USA represented the seller in this particular deal which was sold to a client of Cetin Sever of International Yacht Charters in Cannes at an asking price of $10,900,000.
