25.50 metre superyacht Metolius was built by renowned Dutch shipbuilding company, Royal Huisman, in 1992. Built specifically for an owner with serious family cruising in mind, her interior arrangement focuses on an open central area, with a large galley and uncluttered saloon, dining table and a very efficient navigation and office corner.

With accommodation for 6 guests and 2 crew in total, her guest sleeping cabins consist of one master and two twins. The cabins are cosy and sensible as benefits a true offshore cruiser, and encased in solidly rendered, low-maintenance, teak joinery. She boasts naval architecture by German Frers and interiors by Pieter Beeldsnijder.

Why do we think this is such a great deal?

Metolius is a highly designed, fantastic yacht designed to cruise all oceans in all conditions. The sailplan is engineered to be managed by a minimal crew, with hydraulic winches, a Rondal hydraulic furling spar, headstay and staysail stay, as well as a practical deck layout with an aluminium hull and protected cockpit.

Powered by Mercedes MTU, 200 hp engines, she has a cruising speed of 10 knots and can get to a top speed of 11 knots. To date, the owner and his family have cruised around 90,000 miles at more that 9 knots.
