Charter deal of the week: the 65m superyacht Double Down

What is on offer?

Built by the Italian shipyard Codecasa in 2010, the 65 metre superyacht Double Down (ex; Lady  Lau) features naval architecture and exterior design by the in-house team at Codecasa, with Della Role Design responsible for her luxurious interior design and Evan K. Marshall for recent interior restyling.

On board she accommodates up to 19 guests over an impressive total of nine spacious staterooms (12 guests max for charter). A crew of 17 is also accommodated for on board, with discrete crew accessibility throughout every level of the yacht ensuring a five star service. Powered by twin CAT 3516B engines, she has a top speed of 18 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a range of 6,500 nm.

Why do we think this is such a great deal?

Refitted last year in a project that saw the yacht receive a new coat of exterior paint, extensive varnish work completed, full Caterpillar diagnostic and inspection and a 5-year platinum plus extended warranty on the main engines, Double Down is presented to the market in immaculate condition.

Just some of the most notable features onboard include an eight-person Jacuzzi, a four-deck glass elevator, a fully outfitted gym, a private cinema easily convertible to massage spa area, and the upper deck dining area with 270-degree views and space for up to 19 guests.

When is she available?

Double Down is available for charter this winter in the Caribbean and the Bahamas and for the summer season next year around the Eastern Mediterranean, Western Mediterranean and Spain. Charter prices per week are $455,000 to $495,000 per week in the winter season and €415,000 to €455,000 per week in the summer.

In addition, there is a current special offer on chartering Double Down this winter, with 10 days available for the price of eight during the low season.
