CNI announces new appointments

Camper & Nicholsons International (CNI) reports on positive year end figures. Jillian Montgomery, CEO, extends her encouragement and congratulations to all divisions for exceeding their objectives through hard work: “While market conditions were not always favourable, the diligence of our brokers allowed the right deals to be sourced for a large number of our sellers and buyers; and our charter team, through hard work, research and experience, recorded a marked increase in the number of charters booked”.

CNI’s Charter Marketing and Yacht Management Divisions also stood out during the financial year with respectively 120 Yachts under Charter Marketing in both the US and Europe, and just over 100 Yachts under the Yacht Management Divisions, again in both the US and Europe.

To support the continued growth of CNI, the company has recruited a number of personnel into sales and business development positions. The appointment of Matt Emerson as President of Camper & Nicholsons USA Inc. is just the beginning of further expansion planned for the US. Matt is a familiar face in yachting having notched up several years in the industry. Prior to joining Camper & Nicholsons USA as head of the Charter Marketing Division, Matt successfully oversaw the development of Surfside 3 Marina at Chelsea Piers in New York, and before that he managed the daily operations of North Cove Yacht Harbor in New York.

As President of Camper & Nicholsons USA Inc, Matt will have responsibility for the US-based operations of CNI and will look to develop business for North America. Jillian Montgomery, CEO of Camper & Nicholsons International comments, “We are delighted that someone with Matt’s knowledge has chosen to take on the US side of the business. His experience and understanding of the market will be invaluable to the continued growth of our company.”

On the other side of the Atlantic, the Monaco sales team welcomes Jordan Waugh to the Sales Brokerage Division. After teaching sailing in both the US and Canada, racing with the Monaco Yacht Club, and crewing on several yachts, Jordan returned to Monaco with his family to train as a broker. After a few years working with a number of small agencies, he joined CNI and has spent the last three years working alongside senior broker Jean Marie Recamier in the Antibes office. Jordan joins a team of three Sales Brokers in Camper & Nicholsons’ Monaco office.
