Superyacht Siran has completed a nine-month refit at the Feadship yard in Makkum. Siran has been in the same hands for 24 years, and it is the second time that the owners have brought her back to Feadship for a major refit.
The owners first returned to Feadship in 2005 to embark on a significant rebuild that saw the yacht extended. During that refit, the sun deck was also given a new superstructure in order to accommodate a gym and an entertainment room.
Her latest refit has seen further adaptations to Siran’s sun deck superstructure, with the addition of extra windows, creating a protected area from the wind, underneath her mast.
Her composite sun deck roofing structure has been extended by around 2.5 metres, and her aft deck overhangs were lengthened.
Further enhancements include the installation of highly- skewed low noise propellers and the rearrangement of two crew cabins in a way which better accommodates the junior crew onboard Siran.
