KRM undertake refit of 31m superyacht April

KRM Yachts has undertaken a new refit project recently, the 31 metre motor yacht, April. Built by Bilgin Shipyard in 2006, she accommodates guests over four cabins including 1 master suite, 1 VIP cabins, and 2 guest cabins.

The list of work being done to the superyacht includes:

- New teak decking
- Redesign and construction of galley and saloon
- Changing of all windows
- The design and build of a new sitting area on the fore deck
- Painting of hull & superstructure
- The redesign and construction of the Flybridge
- Upgrade of all Navigation systems
- Overhaul of ONAN gensets (2x24kW)
- Overhaul of the main engines (2x MAN 1360 HP)
- Repairing of windlasses Capstans and Main winch
- Renewal of all interior and exterior fabrics and upholstery
- Reparation and upgrade of all electrical systems

With work begun on April at the beginning of December 2014, the project is expected to take 6 months to complete and will be ready for the 2015 summer season.
