Columbus Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has unveiled two new models to its Atlantique Line of yachts, a 37-metre and a 55-metre model. They draw design inspiration from Hot Lab’s ‘Architecture for Voyagers’ as seen in the Columbus Atlantique 43-metre model.
Both the Atlantique 37 and the Atlantique 55 combine style and functionality, creating a yacht dedicated to on board comfort. The models feature clean and elegant exterior lines and the stern area, just 50-centimetres from the waterline, features a large panoramic swimming pool.
The sub-500 GT Atlantique 37 is compact and combines sporty lines with a clean interior. Her layout includes four double staterooms, each complete with an en suite bathroom, and an owner’s suite situated on the main deck forward. The Atlantique 37 will feature two dining areas, a main deck al fresco dining space and an upper deck dining table for up-to 10 guests. To emphasise the connection with the sea, this dining area is surrounded by large glass windows, which can be opened to create an al fresco feeling. She will have two tender garages, one to starboard for a 4.45-metre tender and a second to port forward for a 3.25-metre tender and a rescue boat. Equipped with twin MAN 1400 horse-power engines, the 37 can reach a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots.
The largest model in the Atlantique series, the Atlantique 55, with her steel hull and aluminium superstructure, has an interior volume of 900 GT and a four-deck layout. The main socialising area on the main deck aft has been designed to achieve maximum comfort spread across three levels, inclusive of a swimming pool to the stern, a living area with C-shaped seating and a bar area near the entrance to the main saloon.
The superyacht is available with two main deck layouts. Both feature an owner’s cabin forward, however, layout one includes a gym area with a private balcony while the second layout has a fifth VIP stateroom and a private balcony as part of the owner’s suite. Below deck, are four double staterooms with en suite bathrooms. The yacht can also sleep 13 crew members. On the Atlantique 57’s sun deck is a second pool, while her tenders and Jet Skis are located in her garage situated forward.
