New Continental Two superyacht in-build at Van der Valk

Following the news posted last week of the revealing of Van der Valk’s new Continental Five range, the Dutch shipyard has announced that a new Continental Two vessel is currently under construction at their facilities in Waalwijk. The 27 metre motor yacht has been designed with Guido de Groot, whilst her naval architecture has been undertaken by Jarin Ginton.

She will accommodate guests over a four cabin layout, including a large owner’s suite, a VIP suite, and two guest cabins. Her interior will be particularly spacious thanks to the 6.72 beam.

The new Continental Two features several departures from Van der Valk’s traditional design and styling, including a bulb on the submerged section of the vessel as well as tender storage located on the extensive bathing platform.

She will be powered by twin MAN 1900 V12 engines, and one of her highlights will be state-of-the-art roll stabilisation in the form of a VG120 gyro stabiliser by VEEM. She is scheduled to be delivered to her experienced owner in Spring 2017.
