Project C. 2196 is a new 39 metre racing sloop that will be introduced as part of the Perini Navi Racing Line. Created in Viareggio’s Technical Department, the project has been designed in collaboration with Philippe Briand. A brand new opening transom matches the sleek lines of the superstructure and has been enlarged to a 9 metres sq surface. The carbon rig is also available with a square top mainsail. Powered by 2 x 970Kw CAT C32 ACERT engines, she has a maximum speed of 17 knots, and a range of 5,700 nm at a cruising speed of 12 knots.
