The first few days of September 2010 saw Nobiskrug deliver the stunning 68 metre motor yacht Sycara V to her owners less than one month after the delivery of Jamaica Bay. This modern superyacht was designed by Craig Beale, Pure Detail for the interior and by Nobiskrug for the exterior.
The interior of Sycara V is dedicated to a spacious and barrier-free living. This can be seen on the main deck, which offers an open space of more than 25 metres from the dining room to the library, providing the feeling of living in a penthouse. The entrance of the yacht leads into a wide lobby with an elevator, which connects all the decks from the Lower Deck to the Sun Deck.
The Bridge Deck is mainly allocated to the owner with a large aft facing owner’s suite with adjacent bathrooms for him and her. A private aft deck is inviting for a breakfast outside.
On the Sun Deck there is a gym with a massage room and an outdoor bar. Moreover an 8 person Jacuzzi – custom made by Nobiskrug – can be used on the forward end of the deck.
The five guest cabins on the Lower Deck are situated around the main staircase. To accommodate families with kids, several guest cabins have additional Pullman beds to allow children to sleep close to their parents.
The yacht is well equipped with two Tenders up to 10 metres in length and several water toys. The wide open beach club in the stern provides for a 30 sqm bathing platform.
The maximum speed of 17 knots is comfortably achieved by the two Caterpillar main engines with 1,566kW each and a range of more than 5,000nm which gives trans-Atlantic capability.
Sycara V can be visited during the Monaco Yacht Show from the 22nd to the 25th September 2010. Nobiskrug has now three further yachts under construction and will deliver the next superyacht Sapphire in the near future.
