Red Yacht Design’s 50m superyacht concept Stella

The team at Red Yacht Design have revealed their 50 metre superyacht concept named Stella, designed specifically for Mengi-Yay Yachts. The Turkish design studio created an ultra futuristic superyacht designed to weigh in just below the 500 GT mark, and is now ready to be built with a construction time of a mere 24 months.

Stella takes on an exterior of a high performance superyacht yet offers maximum space, comfort and style that one would expect of a full displacement version. Her 24 knot top speed is equally matched by a range of 3,000 nm while cruising at economical speed. Despite her impressive speed, Stella is designed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure to increase stability and comfort at sea.

Although extensively developed, the design remains very much open to interpretation. The master suite for instance can either be placed forward on main deck, allowing full use of the yacht’s beam. Another layout option sees the entire upper deck, apart from the wheelhouse, be cleared as an owners-only deck with a private terrace leading outside onto the aft deck.

With the master suite on main deck, a large skylight in the deckhead above creates a sensual setting inside where a private owner’s spa is located. This area consists of an intimate indoor pool with a balcony on either side that can be easily operated by the owner without the need of the crew’s direct assistance.

Four additional guest cabins are located on the lower deck with crew accommodation situated in the very forward section of this deck.

A large pool can be found on the beach deck surrounded by a multilevel area of sunpads, making this the ideal sun lounging zone. Inside the hull Stella hides her fleet of water toys, jet skis and guest tender.
