During a recent visit to the beautiful superyacht marina in Tivat, Porto Montenegro, one of our readers saw a new support vessel, the 60 metre Sputnik.
Painted in the same colours as her mother ship, the 72 metre Lürssen Queen K, Sputnik was built by the Boustead Naval Shipyard in Malaysia in 2006. She has a beam of 16.84 metres, draft of 4.84 metres and a gross tonnage of 1620.
Besides numerous tenders, Sputnik has a large heli platform as well as a hangar. Not many further details are available on this shadow vessel. Please contact us if you have more information on Sputnik.
