The south-western part of the island of Mallorca experienced heavy winds and large swells over the weekend with several yachts along the coastline feeling the effects of the heavy weather. One such victim was the 34-metre superyacht Paradise which was left in a semi-submerged state after the conditions subsided.
Early reports from locals suggest the damaged was caused after the yacht repeatedly made contact with the quay during very big swell that made its way into the port. More recent updates describe a Paradise that has taken on water throughout the course of the day and has reached a level with only the flybridge deck left visible above the water.
